CHAPTER NINE
I KNEW IT!

"what should we do now Savara?"
Asked Dot.
"well first,"
She said as she attempted to pry of the translator from her neck.
"Get this thing off me!"
Criss heard her request, and calmly took it off of her.
And put it on a table.
"so back to my question,"
Said Dot
"what now?"

"well, maybe."
Said Jasper
"you guys could stay here?"
The three looked at him.
It seemed obvious that he loved their company, and didn't want them to go.
"Can we Savara?"
Asked Toby, who was now very excited at the thought of them staying.
"No, Toby, we can't stay",
Said savara.
"You need to get back to your mom and Dad,
Remember?"
Toby drooped.
"Oh yeah,"
He said quietly.
"and even I need to get back to my parents,"
Savara said.
"I promised".
"well I guess that settles it!"
Said Dot getting up and
Stretching."
"Time to go home!"
"wow,"
Said savara
"I came all the way from the desert,
To learn that I had completely changed in type!"
"that not the only thing,"
Added Mathias
"you helped them--I mean the humans--to discover a new type if radiation!
That doesn't happen every day!"
Savara laughed quietly
"I guess not".
They got they're stuff ready,
And Jasper even gave them some of his pokemon food for the trip.
"let's go guys"
Said Dot.
They were just heading for the door, when they heard a crash!
And felt the ground shake!
Everyone fell over!
Tables and chairs were knocked over!
"what was that?!"
Yelled the professor
"It was ME!"
a loud booming voice was heard from somewhere, no could figure out where!
Then they heard an explosion!
It came from the door to the big room!
"oh no,"
Said the professor
"Are team aqua and magma attacking again!?"
They ran into the other room
And saw a crater of where the door used to be.
Criss, Mathias, and the professor ran to help up the other injured scientists.
Dot crept toward the crater.
It was smoking and was still hot to touch.
She looked through,
Then she yelped and was pulled through!
Toby called to Savara.
"I heard Dot Yelp!"
He said frantically
"but when I looked she wasn't there!"
Savara became worried.
"come on! Let's go find her!"
She said, as they flew out the door.
Jasper saw them leave,
So he followed.
Toby and Savara stopped just outside the door,
There was a hallway,
With many doors.
"which way?"
Said Toby
Savara started looking around for clues.
"hey look!"
Said Toby looking down,
Savara looked down. and saw a bunch of soot,
And footprints exciting it.
"let's go!"
She said!
They followed the footprints until they were outside.
They saw a large parked truck!
on the side, the were large words which said
"BILL's FROZEN MEATS".
"was this here when we got here?"
Asked Toby.
"No, no it wasn't"
Said savara worried,
She took a step back.
"did you hear something?"
She whispered to Toby.
"no?"
He whispered back.
They stayed quiet for a moment,
Then savara stood stif!
"Get away from the van!"
She said frantically to Toby while moving backward as fast as she could!
"Hide! HIDE!"
she cried!
Toby hid in a bush nearby.
Savara tripped and fell over!
Faint laughter could be heard, which got louder!
It was a cold, and cruel laugh.
Savara couldn't locate where it was coming from.
Then from behind the huge truck, something flew into the air!
Savara squinted trying to see what it was.
It flew toward her!
Savara rocketed into the air!
And saw what had appeared!
It was Colton the Ranger!
He was now wearing a black long jacket that went down to his ankles,
A black shirt
Navy blue jeans
And knee-high brown boots which folded over at the top.
In his hand was a small three tailed whip!
He was riding on the legendary pokemon Latias!
Who was wearing a black collar and reigns!
She looked like she was about to burst out crying!
"I've Found You!"
Calked Colton.
"I know you can understand me,
You were wearing that translator!"
Savara Glared at him and got into a defensive position
"I've been tracking you down since our battle!
And got a few things on my way!"
He patted latias's head
Who cringed at his touch.
"this little beauty,"
He continued
"I found her after I caught her brother,
She came right to me
And does whatever I want her to!"
Savara looked at the Latias,
Who's face was streaked with tears.
"I had no choice,"
The latias whimpered.
"so as you should have realized by now,"
Colton continued again
"I'm catching
And robbing all dragon types,
Which are rare!
Then I'm gonna sell them on the black market to the highest bidder!"
Then he chuckled deeply
"you will certainly earn a pretty penny or two!"
Then with a huge smirk,
He whipped Latias
And charged at Savara!
Savara dove down,
Out of the way,
"DRAGON BREATH!"
Colton called to latias!
Latias fired a dragon breath which savara dodged!
"stupid pokemon!"
Colton said to himself
"KEEP FIREING!"
latias fired a continuous dragon breath beam!
That savara continued to dodge!
Then the latias started gasping for breath!
"PSYCHIC!"
Called Colton.
Latias closed her eyes
And focused.
Savara looked at her strangely.
Then she felt a sudden headache fill her head!
She grabbed her head in pain!
Then Latias opened her eyes! Which were glowing a soft yellow!
Savara felt her arms move without her doing anything!
Then savara was flung across the sky into the nearby waterfall!
Savara fell down the waterfall into a river below!
Colton flew latias over to the river to see where she was!
There was a bit of bubbling, then savara burst out of the water with a huge splash!
Savara coughed a few times, and now very angry!
"ok I didn't want to hurt you Latias,
But I can't let you wipe me out!"
"I'm sorry!"
Cried Latias
"I'm not trying to hurt you!
But I have to do what he asked or he'll
Hurt my brother!"
She was crying,
Savara felt sorry for her.
"I'm sorry, but I have to attack you,"
Said Savara
"please!"
Latias begged,
"stop me from helping this monster!"
Savara fired her blue dragon breath which hit latias's forearm!"
"And there it is!"
Said Colton
"you're killer attack!
We have to stop that now won't we,
LATIAS! USE DISABLE!!"
latias closed her eyes
And a grey flash shot from her head towards Savara!
"Dodge it!"
Latias called!
Savara flew upward!
But it caught her tail and flashed through her body to her head!
Savara tried firing her flamethrower
But couldn't!
"what's the deal!?"
She said angrily
"I'm sorry!"
Said latias
But that's what disable does!"
Savara understood and
Flew towards latias.
Then she started flipping!
Savara then started firing her dragonbreath,
She spun like a fiery pinwheel!
Then she smashed her tail against latias! Which sent her and Colton zooming downward!
Savara caught her breath.
And saw latias regain control and zoom up again!
"someone like to get creative it seems,"
Colton said to himself
"looks like I'm gonna need some help!"
He pulled out a remote from his pocket,
And pushed a few buttons
Then down below,
Savara saw the back doors to the truck and three figures flew up towards them,
One of them was Dot!
The other two were a dragonair!
And the salamence savara had fought earlier that day!
All of them had a black collar on their necks
"Dot!?"
Savara called
"what's going on?!"
Dot pointed to the collar
"these!"
He put these on us!
I don't know what they do, but I don't want to know!"

Savara looked over to the salamence
"you've got to be kidding me."
She said.
"well hello,"
Said the salamence charmingly. "We meet again!
I'm certain it's pure fate!"
He said luringly.
"yeah it's funny that we keep meeting in serious battles!"
The salamence raised one eyebrow and smiled
"still playing hard to get."
He said.
"POKEMON!"
yelled Colton
"ATTACK HER!"
The salamence and dragonair hesitated then fired dragonbreath at her!
Savara dodged one but was hit by the other and smashed into the cliff wall!
"ALTAIRIA!"
called Colton
"USE DOUBLE EDGE!"
Dot did nothing,
"why aren't you attacking?"
Whispered the dragonair in a French accent.
"because she's my friend!"
Said Dot
Colton called out again
"ALTARIA!
USE DOUBLE EDGE!!!"
Dot stuck up her nose.
"you stupid pokemon!
You asked for it!"
He pushed a button on his remote,
Then Dots collar sparked
"Wha,AAAAACKKK!!!"
screeched Dot!
She swung out her arms in pain!
Then she started falling to the ground.
Savara flew as fast as she could!
And caught her!
She slowly brought her down, and placed her gently on the ground.
"what was that"
Said Dot still shaking
"it eez ze shock collair!"
Said the dragonair
Flying down.
"It is a cruel invention"
She said shaking her head.
"wow,"
Said Colton,
"that Altairia certainly is weak, and stubborn"
He called out to his pokemon
"ATTACK THE FLYGON!!"
Dragonair started swinging her tail around
And used twister!
Savara tried to get away, but it sucked her inside!
She was swung around
And around!
Being hit by sticks and rocks that also had been picked up.
Savara tried to get free!
So she beat her wings strongly and shot up through the middle,
And escaped!
The pokemon continued firing attacks at her! And she continued dodging
"I -huff huff- can't,
-Gasp- keep this up!"
Savara said getting very tired
Colton noticed this
"getting tired are we?"
He said cruely
"things will now get easier!"
He pushed a few button on his remote
The truck opened again
And four more pokemon came out!
A vibrava,
Two more salamence
And another flygon!
Savara recognized him!
He was her childhood crush!
"what am I gonna do?!"
Savara said to herself,
Meanwhile, below them on the ground.
Jasper found Toby in the bush,
Toby was scared,
When he looked up and saw Jasper,
He had changed colour and shape!
he now was turquoise and purple,
And looked almost like a tornado.
"whoa, how did you do that?"
Asked Toby
"It happens when the weather around me changes,"
Jasper answered
"anyway, what should we do?"
Asked Jasper,
Toby thought for a moment.
"well,"
He said
"I saw the doors to that truck open a few times, and pokemon were coming out of it,"

"should we check it out?"
Jasper asked
Toby nodded.
So they crept over to the huge truck,
And tried to find a way inside.
"see if the door opens Jasper,"
Whispered Toby.
"I can't I don't have hands!
You open it!"
Then he looked at him
"oh, um, I know! let's get criss and Mathias!"
Toby agreed and they brought criss and mathias back the truck with them.
"what are you two doing"
Asked Criss.
Mathias had the translator back on
"we're trying to see what's inside this truck!"
Said Jasper.
"yeah we think there might be something bad. Inside"
Added Toby
"well let's check it out,"
Said Mathias
Who turned to criss
"would you kindly open the door?"
He asked,
Criss gladly helped and opened the drivers Door.
It was normal,
there was a button beside the wheel which said
"open back doors"
So he pushed it.
When he did, the doors didn't move!
He got out,
And walked to the back,
He grabbed the handle and pulled!
But they didn't budge.
"it's frozen!"
He said
"it won't open
"let me try!"
Said Toby as he floated up to it and used secret power!
They heard a crack sound, and the doors opened freely,
As they opened,
A steam flowed out.
They went inside
"it's cold in here,"
Said Toby
"that's because it's a frozen meat truck,"
Said Mathias.
Jasper sneezed,
"bless you, Jasper"
Said Mathias.
Criss looked at Matias
Surprised,
"Jasper?"
He said curiously,
"I didn't know pokemon named themselves,"
Mathias looked at him
"what? You thought we called ourselves tropius number 1 or something?"
Criss shrugged.
They looked around there were lots if crates and boxes.
"wait!"
Said Toby
everyone halted except criss.
"I thought I heard shivering,"
They looked around,
They did hear shivering!
The followed the sound to the far end of the truck!
There they saw about ten or more dragon types,
Frozen, and shivering!
At the very back was a blue and white one that Toby never had seen before!
They walked closer, he was chained to the truck!
"why don't the others escape?"
Asked Jasper
"Only one is chained,"
It's because that they are frozen,"
Mathias Said
"dragon types are very weak against ice,
When they become cold they can't hardly move at all! So they can't do anything to escape! even I am becoming weary by just standing here"
"but your not a dragon?"
Said Jasper.
No but I am grass and flying,
And both of those are weak against Ice!"
Toby looked at the pokemon
"how do we free them?"
He asked
"well I suppose we should find the thing cooling the truck, then break it I guess,"
Said Mathias loud enough so criss could hear.
"well let's start looking!"
Said criss, as he jumped out and looked on the outside
The others started looking too.
Mathias jumped out and looked outside with criss.
Back in the sky,
Savara was fighting for life!
Eight against one is not a fair number!
She flew at the male flygon and hooked onto him with her tail, then flew as fast as she could to the ground!
Then when she got close she slingshotted him into the ground with her tail!
"Sorry, Morlan."
She Said remorsefully,
Then she flew back into the sky.
A salamence flew up behind and tried repeatedly to use Dragon claw!
Savara barely dodged
Them!
Then she saw the dragonair about to use dragon breath!
Savara thought fast and grabbed the salamence and used him as a shield!
It got hit and fell to the ground!
Savara breathed heavily,
Then she charged at the dragonair!
And started breathing dragonbreath!
She stuck out her forearm!
And punched with a fiery dragon breath fist!
The dragonair fell into the river at the bottom of the waterfall.
But from behind her
The annoying salamence used dragon claw at her back!
Savara cringed!
"I'm sorry snow drop,"
He said remorsefully.
Then savara started plummeting to the ground!
She couldn't get control!
She closed her eyes,
Hoping that it would be over shortly...
